ICS-1 Belt Scale
The belt scale consists of a weighing bridge, load cell, speed measuring drum, speed sensor and accumulator. The load cell is mounted on the longitudinal beam of the conveyor, which supports the weighing rollers and detects the weight of the material on the belt, generating a voltage signal proportional to the belt load. The speed sensor is directly coupled to the driven pulley or to a large diameter pulley and provides a series of pulses, each pulse representing a unit length of belt run, at a frequency proportional to the belt speed. The accumulator receives the signals from the load cell and the speed sensor, and after A/D conversion, filtering and shaping, enters the microprocessor to perform arithmetic operations, and outputs the cumulative and instantaneous flow rate, the belt speed, the counting pulses, and other parameters.
