According to the size of the original fixed saddle and steel beam and the installation and use requirements of the lower guide device and weighing module, the two sets of saddles are respectively located on the steel beam on both sides of the stepping beam. This arrangement does not affect the action of the stepping beam, but also ensures the stability of the weighing device. The steel beam has been modified to meet the requirements of the mounting of the weighing module and the lifting position of the saddle.

In order to facilitate the logistics management, the steel coil scale is installed in the exit area of the continuous rolling unit to weigh and measure the finished coil of the unit. Due to the off-line arrangement of the steel coil scale, the finished coil needs to be moved, hoisted and weighed by the stepping conveyor at the exit of the tandem mill unit. This kind of transportation weighing method not only affects the production rhythm but also causes the waste of manpower and energy. Therefore, according to the structural characteristics of the stepping conveyor, the steel coil online weighing is realized.

The steel coil stepping conveyor is composed of a translation hydraulic cylinder, a crank, a lifting hydraulic cylinder, a balancing connecting rod mechanism, a wheel set, a single fixed saddle, a fixed steel beam (3 sets of symmetrical saddles are installed on both sides, the spacing is 2600mm), and a movable steel beam (4 sets of saddles are installed on the top, the spacing is 2600mm). Each side of the fixed steel beam is composed of three steel beams. The size of the translation hydraulic cylinder is @200minx@140mmx2600mm(stroke), and the translation speed is 0-lOOmm/s. The size of the lifting hydraulic cylinder is @250mmx@190mmx690mm(stroke), and the lifting speed is O-25mm/s.

The fixed saddles of the steel coil stepper conveyor are arranged on both sides of the active steel beam, and there are four sets of fixed saddles arranged along the direction of the process line with a spacing of 2600mm. The movable beam has 4 sets of saddles spaced 2600mm. The action of the steel coil stepper conveyor transporting the chilled coil from the saddle of Section 1 to the saddle of Section 2 is completed as follows: Lift hydraulic cylinder full recovery > Translation hydraulic cylinder extension (stroke 2600mm)> Lift hydraulic cylinder extension (movable steel beam saddle to lift the steel coil)> Translation hydraulic cylinder recovery (stroke 2600mm)> Lift hydraulic cylinder recovery (steel coil on the 2 section beam saddle). Through the above action, the steel coil conveyor completes a cycle. The stepper conveyor is loaded at the beam of the first section, the steel coil is transported to the saddle of the beam of the second section to start the binding and packing operation, and the saddle of the beam of the third section to start the lifting operation. Based on the analysis of the structural characteristics of the stepping conveyor and the process flow of the steel coil conveying process, it is decided to install a weighing device at the beam of the third section.

The third section of the beam is composed of saddle, weighing module, steel beam, etc. The saddle and steel beam coordinate with each other through the guide device, the middle weighing module is connected with the lower fixed steel beam by bolts, and the saddle and weighing module only contact but do not connect. The guide sleeve is fixed connected with the steel beam, and the guide rod is fixed connected with the saddle. When the weighing device is installed, the weighing module is first fixed on the steel beam with bolts, and then the V-shaped saddle is lifted and the guide rod is aligned with the guide sleeve on the steel beam and slowly lowered, so that the guide rod is smoothly inserted into the guide sleeve without jamming and deviation. Based on the stability type of V-shaped saddle and the action of related mechanisms, 4 groups of Weighing modules are installed below it in a rectangular arrangement, and 2 sets of guiding devices are distributed on the geometric center line of the steel beam.
