Weighing module is essentially a quality signal into a measurable electrical signal output device, using an external power supply for power supply, when the weights placed on the module, the weights to the platform of the pressure exerted on the load cell, the sensor's resistance to deformation of the strain gage, resulting in a change in resistance, which led to changes in the voltage added to the two ends of the resistor, the output of the changing voltage signal. Since the voltage signal is tiny, the signal is amplified by differential amplifier circuit, and the amplified voltage signal is displayed by DC voltmeter, or the voltage signal is directly transferred to PLC analog input port AI, which is controlled by PLC host CPU to directly carry out A/D conversion, and then displayed in the upper computer interface.
The weighing module is a practical structural accessory for load cells. It consists of a top plate, a base plate, a load cell, a load support column and a support bolt. Depending on the load support column and the top plate, it is divided into three types of structures: fixed, semi-floating and floating.
Weighing modules can be used for the measurement and monitoring of materials, such as hoppers, reactors, tanks, etc. (instead of level meters, flow meters, etc.); they can also be used for the dosage of processes, such as the control of Dosage systems for reactors and tanks, as well as for quality control and sorting.
The weighing module combines the high-precision shear-beam load cell, load transfer device and mounting connecting plate into a single unit, which not only ensures the high precision and long-term stability of the shear-beam load cell, but also solves the problem of weighing error caused by improper installation.
In order to ensure the measurement accuracy of the weighing module in various environments, the strain gage bridge of the weighing module is generally used to increase the linear compensation, zero compensation, temperature compensation and other treatments, as well as the anticorrosion treatment on the surface of the load cell, and so on. Meanwhile, in order to guarantee the accuracy of the sensor when it is excited remotely, two wires are usually output from the two ends of the strain gage excitation to the weight transmitter or weighing terminal, which are used for calculating the loss compensation of the excitation voltage when it is transmitted over a long line.
